O’ahu has a ton of great hikes. We did the Manoa Falls hike which was easy to get to and relatively short and flat hike at the base of the Ko’oaus Mountains. A few things before you go, you are hiking in a rainforest, it’s wet, wet and dirt means mud. Take an extra pair of shoes. The parking lot at the bottom of the entrance had a small bucket to wash off the mud, but, it’s always a great idea to be prepared. The path is both muddy and slippery due to the moisture. The waterfall is breath taking and is easily 150 feet free fall to a small pond. The foliage is incredible! The hike is quick and the waterfall is absolutely beautiful. A perfect destination for this hike.
